UPDATE MAY 2026

After the dust has settled and all orders have been received, I’ve opted not to offer shipped cuttings going forward. Despite months of care, worry, watching the weather, carefully packaging and shipping and paying out of pocket for the additional Purolator fees, some cuttings arrived damaged, others weren’t aware of how to care for them on arrival, some were delayed in transit and on and on. And despite all of those possible outcomes being listed here on my website prior to my cutting sales, I’ve still received far too many unkind messages and have refunded far too many customers that I shouldn’t have (again, those policies were all listed here prior to purchase) 

 My heart goes out to all of our Canadian sellers going through these same outcomes all while raising families, working outside of their happy place and giving it their all, year after year despite all of the above happening to them over and over. I simply won’t subject myself to it again. I will however have many in person cutting sales in 2027 and will offer a Saskatoon pickup option as well. I put too much love and effort into my plants and would prefer they be bought in person where we can chat about their care and you can choose your special varieties right there💛

Rooted dahlia cuttings from some of my most loved varieties. Grown in my garden, I do not import or purchase wholesale dahlias. Quietly released in small batches throughout winter. Follow along on IG for hints as they’re released!

⭐️Cutting sales & policies

  • All cuttings are guaranteed to be rooted & true to variety. They will come in varying sizes as they root. 
  • This is a pre-sale; cuttings will ship late spring from Saskatchewan. They will not ship early, we tend to have freezing temps longer than other provinces, nothing will ship until we are no longer freezing. As well some varieties are slower to wake & root than others, your order won’t ship until all cuttings are big enough for transit. Please be aware that this will be late May through early June.
  • I can not be held responsible for cuttings once they have been shipped to you. It is the buyers responsibility to provide proper shipping address, care & planting. 
  • You MUST include both your street address and P.O Box if available at checkout,  Failure to do so will result in order cancellation. Include your email and always check your junk/spam as I will communicate this way with you regarding your order. I use both Canada Pist & Purolator, without correct addresses, I can’t be held responsible for returned parcels. Additional shipping will be at buyers expense.
  • Orders will not be cancelled or refunded otherwise.
  • Please ONLY order dahlia cuttings if you are experienced in their care. They can easily go into shock if put directly under lights after transit, it can take them time to acclimate to your environment. I can’t be held responsible for cutting loss once they’ve  left my care and WILL NOT offer refunds for failure to thrive. 
  • In the event that a variety fails to produce for me, you will be refunded for that cutting/s. If you’ve ordered multiple varieties, only the failed cutting will be refunded. If the only variety you’ve ordered fails, you will be refunded shipping as well. I will never send replacements of my choosing nor will I offer store credit. 

 ⭐️PLEASE READ; I take EVERY precaution to ensure my stock is clean. Including; disinfecting tools and implements with long bleach soaks, using multiple pairs of snips at a time, keeping stock separate after dividing, strong pest management including use of pesticides, containing soil health to deter pests and encourage beneficial predators, interplanting and removing anything remotely suspicious in my dahlia patch. When in doubt, throw it out. 

 Despite this, the ADS reports of the dahlias in circulation 87% test positive for at least one virus. What is strong and healthy in my garden could be asymptomatic and show symptoms in your climate/growing conditions/environmental stressors.

 Know that I do everything in my power to keep my stock as clean as possible but I can not guarantee they are virus free. I can not be held responsible nor will I issue refunds for plants that develop disease. Important to note: Pests are the highest vector of virus and disease and can easily transmit it from many plants.
